Dr. Jesus C. Delgado Memorial Hospital, the only private hospital centered on women’s health, recently celebrated its 74th Foundation Day last August 1, 2022. With this year’s theme – JDMH @74: Soar to New Heights! Living the Values as our Guiding Light, the hospital aims to promote a positive and enthusiastic spirit within its community of employees and medical professionals as the country continues to recover from the aftereffects of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Goyena, President and CEO of JDMH. “Part of that aspiration is the hospital’s vision to become the Center of Excellence in Women’s Health in the next five years”.
The event commenced with a holy mass celebrated by Father Rufer Solis, which was then followed by the blessing of the hospital’s newly renovated operating room, delivery room, labor room and doctors’ lounge. Equipped with new furnishings and modern features such as an automatic revolving door, a first in the hospital, the refurbished facilities promise to offer a more modern, safe, and comfortable experience for Delgado patients and doctors alike.
Following the blessing was the Foundation Day programme hosted by Ms. Heidi Demaisip. It was a fun-filled and interactive event composed of a trivia and guessing game contest, a departmental art contest and a rewards and recognition program for exemplary employees and for top contributing doctors.
This year’s celebration was graced by Delgado Hospital’s Board of Directors, Mrs. Violeta Delgado-Cojuangco and Mrs. Chinit Delgado-Rufino who joined the event through online feed, and the senior executives of Metro Pacific Hospital Holdings Inc. headed its Chair, Mr. Augie P. Palisoc, Jr., Chief Executive Officer, Dr Harish Pillai, and Business Development Director, Noel de la Paz.

Dr. Jesus C. Delgado Memorial Hospital (JDMH) recently embarked on its extensive expansion program by purchasing an adjoining property along Kamuning Road, Quezon City.
“The acquisition of this land – which will be the future site of our new doctors’ and specialty clinics – is pivotal as Delgado Hospital looks to expand its services to the community and reiterate our commitment as a women’s care specialist,” remarked Joel I. Rodriguez, President and General Manager of JDMH. “As part of the program, we have commenced with the renovations to our existing doctors’ clinics and other hospital facilities.”
“This 2020, we will also unveil new patient rooms, as well as launch our new fertility clinic in order to assist yearning couples who have issues conceiving a baby. This facility will be headed by established reproductive medicine specialists, and serve as a hub for quality fertility diagnostic and treatment services such as basic infertility laboratory testing, fertility monitoring, and intrauterine insemination (IUI)―which we will offer at affordable rates,” Rodriguez added. “Such initiatives are just the tip of the iceberg as we continue to pursue our vision to become the leading women’s hospital in the Philippines.”
